Terms of Service
Effective Date: October 17, 2026 • Last Updated: October 17, 2026
Mandatory Educational & Jurisprudential Disclaimer
FaraidCalc is strictly an educational, mathematical, and illustrative tool. It is built to assist users in understanding the core fractional algorithms and traditional rules of Islamic estate succession (‘Ilm al-Farā’id) as derived from the Holy Quran, Sunnah, and classical Sunni consensus.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or utilizing FaraidCalc (faraid-calc.truxio.bond), you acknowledge that you have read, comprehended, and agreed to be legally bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any segment of these terms, your sole remedy is to discontinue use of the platform.
2. Nature of Service: Educational Only
The contents, calculations, certificates, interactive visual charts, and jurisprudential explanations furnished on FaraidCalc are published exclusively for pedagogical and informational purposes.
- No Attorney-Client Relationship: Utilization of FaraidCalc does not create an attorney-client, fiduciary, or legal representative relationship between you and FaraidCalc, its founder (H M Jubair Alam), or the Islamic Digital Initiative.
- No Mufti-Mustafti Relationship: Output reports do not constitute a formal religious decree (Fatwā) issued by an authorized religious board or Darul Ifta.
3. Real-World Estate Nuances & Jurisdiction Constraints
While our underlying software algorithms account for classical Sunni fiqh principles (including Hajb, Al-‘Awl, Ar-Radd, and Al-Gharrawiyyan), real-world legal administration involves multifaceted factors that cannot be diagnosed by an automated tool alone, such as:
- Statutory civil probate codes, inheritance tax liabilities, and estate administrative fees.
- Joint tenancies, rights of survivorship, trust deeds, and inter-vivos gifts (Hibah).
- Contested claims of paternity, missing heirs (Mafqūd), simultaneous deaths, or unborn heirs (Hamal).
- Unpaid deferred dower (Mahr Mu'ajjal), religious expiations (Kaffarāt), and disputed commercial debt obligations.
4. Intellectual Property & Open Educational Use
The original educational articles, layout design, branding, and mathematical calculation interfaces are protected by applicable intellectual property rights under the Islamic Digital Initiative.
You are permitted to print calculation certificates, distribute educational guides, and reference the platform for non-commercial educational purposes, provided full attribution to FaraidCalc is preserved. You may not misrepresent automated outputs as official court rulings or commercialize the tool without explicit authorization.
5. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
FARAIDCALC IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR FREEDOM FROM PROGRAMMING ERRORS.
IN NO EVENT SHALL H M JUBAIR ALAM, THE ISLAMIC DIGITAL INITIATIVE, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, THIS TOOL, INCLUDING ANY DISPUTES, FINANCIAL LOSSES, OR CONFLICTS ARISING AMONG HEIRS.
6. User Conduct & Inquiries
Users agree to interact with the platform respectfully. When submitting inquiries through our contact facilities, users must not transmit unlawful, defamatory, abusive, or malicious code.
7. Amendments & Contact Details
