FaraidCalc فرائض

Simplified Islamic Inheritance Engine

Privacy & Data Sovereignty Statement

Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 17, 2026 • Last Updated: October 17, 2026

Our Zero-Data Storage Guarantee

At FaraidCalc, we believe that sensitive family matters and estate financial figures should belong solely to you. We do not store, log, capture, or transmit any estate numbers, debt figures, family heir counts, or deceased information to any external server. All calculations are executed 100% locally inside your web browser’s JavaScript engine.

1. Introduction & Scope

This Privacy Policy governs the operations of FaraidCalc (accessible at faraid-calc.truxio.bond), administered under the Islamic Digital Initiative by founder H M Jubair Alam. This document explains how we treat user privacy, our zero-storage architectural paradigm, and the technical standards governing third-party advertising partners and analytics.

2. Estate & Inheritance Data Processing (100% Client-Side)

When you use FaraidCalc to calculate Islamic inheritance distributions, you input parameters such as:

  • Deceased gender and marital status.
  • Number of surviving heirs (spouses, children, parents, siblings, etc.).
  • Total gross estate value, funeral expenses, debts, and testamentary bequests (Wasiyyah).

Technical Reality: None of these values are submitted via HTTP POST requests, stored in cloud databases, or viewed by our personnel. The calculation logic is written purely in client-side JavaScript (app.js). When you close or refresh your browser tab, the variables are instantaneously purged from your device’s volatile RAM.

3. Local Browser Storage & Preferences

To enhance user convenience across sessions, FaraidCalc may use your browser’s local storage API (localStorage) strictly to remember client interface preferences, such as your selected display currency (e.g. USD, BDT, GBP, SAR). This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to other domains, and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser cache.

4. Third-Party Advertising & Cookie Disclosures

To maintain FaraidCalc as a free, publicly accessible global service without paywalls or subscription barriers, we may display ethical, sharia-compliant third-party advertisements, including Google AdSense and ethical network partners (such as HalalSpark).

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites:

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visits to FaraidCalc and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • Alternatively, users can opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalized advertising by visiting the AboutAds Opt-Out Portal or the Network Advertising Initiative.

We do not allow advertisers to access your inheritance calculation variables or personal inputs under any circumstances.

5. Standard Log Files & Hosting Telemetry

Like virtually all standard web hosting providers (such as GitHub Pages or Cloudflare CDN), the hosting infrastructure automatically logs standard technical metadata when a web page is requested. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date/time stamps, referring/exit pages, and number of clicks. These standard logs are not linked to any personally identifiable information and are used solely for analyzing trends, administering the site, preventing DDoS attacks, and ensuring infrastructure stability.

6. Protection of Minors (COPPA Compliance)

FaraidCalc is an educational mathematical calculator and does not knowingly collect any personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If a parent or guardian believes that an under-13 minor has provided personal details through our contact forms, please contact us immediately, and we will promptly remove such records from our email correspondence.

7. Global Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA Notice)

Under regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), users possess specific statutory rights regarding their personal data, including the right to request access, rectification, erasure, or restriction of processing.

Because FaraidCalc operates on a strict zero-data-collection model for calculation services and retains no customer database, we do not hold personal estate portfolios that could be sold, transferred, or deleted. For inquiries regarding general correspondence records (e.g. email exchanges), you may exercise your rights at any time by contacting our Data Privacy Custodian.
